Fork & Truck is one of the best food trucks that provides event and corporate catering in Houston.  Our made-from-scratch vittles are inspired by our city’s diversity. We combine fresh ingredients with onsite concession and cooking in our brand-new, state-of-the-art mobile kitchen.  This provides a unique and tasty food truck catering experience that you and your guest won’t forget.

We truly believe in cooking and serving quality food.  Therefore, nothing is purchased from a mass producer and everything is cooked to order…no heat lamps here!  We even make all of our sauces and marinades in-house.

A few important catering points:

  • We require a minimum of $750 per event. A private event means that Fork & Truck cannot and will not serve to the public
  • Travel fees may apply to events outside the Beltway

Catering Guidelines

Our food truck event catering covers company lunches, office parties, birthdays, holiday parties, weddings, and festivals. Fill out our online form to contact the Catering Manager for a precise quote.

F&T will be present at an event for a total of 3-4 hours (set up, service, and clean up). F&T may serve longer contingent upon the menu selected.

If the event is within 30 miles of our base location (77007), there is no additional charge.  Any events that are located 30 – 60 miles from the base location will be charged a $50 Destination Fee. F&T will not travel to events more than 60 miles from its base location. No travel fees or events inside the Beltway. Travel fees may apply to events outside the Beltway.

Clients must verify that we are allowed to park at the event location site and obtain any necessary permits. We will rely on our generator but may request an electrical connection (120V connection) as back up.  Parking must allow for clearance of the following dimensions: 28 FT LONG X 14 FT WIDE X 15FT TALL.

No. Once you have filled out the online form, the Catering Manager will contact you to review your request. To secure our Houston food truck catering for your event, you will need to sign a catering contract and pay a non-refundable deposit based on your quote.

F&T requires a minimum of $750 as a private event means that F&T cannot and will not serve to the public.  Each private event will require the nonrefundable deposit and a customized Food and Beverage menu based on the number of anticipated guests. On Saturdays between April through September there is a $1,000 food and beverage minimum due to the high demand.

The deposit is due upon return of the signed contact. Your total food and beverage minimum is due 7 days prior to event via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover), cashier’s check or cash.  F&T cannot accept personal checks. The remaining amount is due by cash or credit card on the day of your event prior to the service start time.

The Deposit is non-refundable. If the truck is cancelled 8 days prior to service, no additional fees are due. If the truck is cancelled within 0-7 days prior to service, the contracted food and beverage minimum is due. F&T will operate rain, snow or shine.

Brunch and lunch time frames need to conclude by 2 p.m. Dinner time frame can begin after 4 p.m.

We strive to accommodate all special menu requests regarding allergies and dietary restrictions as well as menu requests based on traditions, theme of party, and personal preferences. Please consult with the catering manager for guidelines and restrictions. Special requests will be priced differently.

F&T will provide the utensils, napkins, and food containers. Beverages will be served in a can or bottle. F&T does not provide cups or straws. The client is responsible for setting up trash cans for the guests to dispose of trash and is responsible for trash removal caused by guests. F&T will dispose of the truck’s waste including oil, plastic wraps, leftover food, water held in truck, etc. We also provide a menu board.

No. Due to safety and sanitation regulations, the only food that can be served from the food truck is food prepared by F&T.

Menu needs to be chosen 14 days in advance. If contract is signed within 14 days prior to event date, a menu will need to be chosen upon the return of the signed contract and at least 7 days prior to event.

No. The food truck will prepare 5% over the final guaranteed number of guests paid. F&T will track the amount.  It may be a good idea to increase your count by a few guests if you anticipate last minute guests or guests wanting seconds. F&T will not deny a guest a second service unless instructed by the client. All extra entrees purchased are non-refundable if they are unused.
