Just your typical October evening in Houston… Warm… Muggy… Dark… The perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes… or zombies.
Watch our first encounter with the living dead, and how your favorite food truck managed to escape a terrifying attack from those pesky walkers. Don’t let their speed fool you, they can be dangerous in large numbers (any Walking Dead fan can tell you that).
Our truck has now come out of hiding to face the flesh-eaters at the Houston Zombie Walk this Saturday. And we have come prepared…
The 8th Annual Houston Halloween Festival taking place on Saturday, October 20, 2018, 5 pm to 10pm, in the Houston Heights. The festival will feature entertainment and activities for the entire family including live music, beer gardens, artist & business vendors, food trucks, a costume contest and a large Kids Zone for our youngest ghosts and ghouls. The kid’s zone will include a pumpkin patch, magician & juggling performances, carnival games, spin art, Halloween arts and crafts, kids cartoon characters, face painting, trick or treating, a kids costume contest and much more! The festival provides a fun and safe community environment for Houston families to celebrate Halloween. Last year, the festival had 5,000 participants and the HZW anticipates over 8,000 in 2018. All proceeds from this amazing event support our 2018 ‘Too Ghoul for School’ Scholarship Fund. We are giving $25,000 worth of scholarships away this year from the funds raised in 2017.
